Question

Shoud the remainder be always zero in the division mathod?

Open in App
Solution

Division is complete only if the remainder is less than Dividend. If you are dividing a number where Dividend is completely divisible (i.e. Divisor is factor of Dividend) then you will get Remainder as zero, otherwise it will be less than dividend.
