ii) The average temperature of Earth is 13 degree Celsius, but it varies depending upon many factors. It is the temperature that makes this planet a place to survive.
iii) A change in the climate would negatively affect natural resources. Other results include deforestation, industrialization, global warming, and emission of poisonous gases.
iv) A rise of 2 degree C in the average temperature would result in a rise of one meter in sea level. This would adversely affect the coastal areas and millions of people.
v) Therefore, the average temperature of the earth can be treated as a natural resource for all people. Taking the advantage of this renewable resource in the form of solar energy, people can reduce their dependency on non – renewable sources like coal, petroleum etc.
