Question

Should the handle and bristles of a tooth brush be made of the same material? Explain your answer.

Solution

No, the handle and bristles of a toothbrush should be made of different materials than the handle of the toothbrush. The bristles of a toothbrush are made up of very soft nylon fibres to protect our gums from any harm so they are long, elastic, lightweight, lustrous and easy to use while the handle is made up of strong, hard and durable plastic to give a firm grip to the toothbrush.
