Show that LHS=RHS i.e. $\frac{2}{9}\times 3=\frac{2}{9}\times \frac{3}{1}=\frac{2\times 3}{9\times 1}=\frac{6}{9}=\frac{2}{3}$.

In the given figure.

We have to show that,

$\frac{2}{9}+\frac{2}{9}+\frac{2}{9}=\frac{6}{9}$

Now,

L.H.S=$\frac{2}{9}+\frac{2}{9}+\frac{2}{9}=\frac{6}{9}$ then,..........(I)

L.C.M of $9,9,9$ is $9$

And

If we divide $9$ by $9$, then the quetiont is $1$

now multiply $2$ by $1$ we get $2$

By the following operation , the equation become

$\frac{6}{9}$

The factor of $6$ and $9$ is $3$

now divide $\frac{6}{9}$ by $3$ both numerator and denominator,

then we get

$\frac{6}{9}$=$\frac{2}{3}$

And R.H.S= $\frac{2}{3}$

Hence L.H.S=R.H.S
