$\frac{s i n 45^{\circ} - s i n 30^{\circ}}{c o s 45^{\circ} + c o s s p a c e 60^{\circ}}$ = $\frac{\frac{2 - \sqrt{2}}{2 \sqrt{2}}}{\frac{2 + \sqrt{2}}{2 \sqrt{2}}}$ = $\frac{2 - \sqrt{2}}{2 + \sqrt{2}}$

Multiplying numerator and denominator by

$\frac{s i n 45^{\circ} - t a n 45^{\circ}}{c o s e c 45^{\circ} + c o t 45^{\circ}}$ = $\frac{2 - \sqrt{2}}{2 + \sqrt{2}}$

Hence the two are equal
