Solution

Multiple fission:

  1. It is a kind of asexual reproduction, where a single parent cell gives rise to many daughter cells.
  2. The division of cells into more than two daughter cells is considered multiple fission. For example plasmodium, amoeba, etc.
  3. The nucleus of the parent cell divides into many small nuclei.
  4. This is followed by, cytoplasmic division of the parent cell into that many nuclei.
  5. The daughter cells are temporarily ceiled within a cyst due to unfavorable conditions.
  6. As the environmental favorable conditions are favorable, the cyst ruptures and releases the daughter cells.
