Solution

The correct option is A

Yes

Total amount invested = Rs. 20000

The ratio of profits of Shreya, Karan and Gautam = 600 : 1200 : 200
6 : 12 : 2
3 : 6 : 1

As the ratio of profit = 3 :6 :1
Ratio of capital = 3 : 6 :1

Shreya's part in the capital = 20000 × 33+6+1=20000×310 = Rs. 6000

Hence, the above statement is true.
