Let, present age of sarla =x

And present age of sheya =y

Now, as per 1^st condition of question

$x = 2 y + 7$ …..(1)

As per 2^nd condition of question

3 years since present

Y=x+19 ….(2)

From equation 1^st and 2^nd

$y - 19 = 2 y + 7$

$y = - 26$

Put y=26 in equation 1^st ,we get

$x = - 45$
Hence , this is not possible , age can’t exist negative
