Open in App
Solution

Monthly salary = Rs. 5500

Now,given that he saves 0.2 part of his monthly salary.So, his monthly savings are:
(Monthly Savings)Sₘ = 0.2 part of 5500
= 0.2 × 5500
Sₘ = Rs. 1100

Now, the savings for each month are Rs.1100. So, the savings for whole year i.e. 12 months will be,
S = Sₘ × 12
= 1100 × 12
= 13200
Yearly Savings = Rs.13200
