Amount lost when Sia is on leave = $\$1$

Amount earned at the end of April = $\$90$
Number of days in April = 30

Let the number of days Sia worked on be x. Then the number of days, Sia was on leave will be (30 – x).

Money earned by Sia = $\$5x$
Money deducted from Sia
= $\$1(30–x)$

$5x–(30–x)=90$
$⟹5x–30+x=90$
$⟹6x=90+30$
$⟹6x=120$
$⟹x=\frac{120}{6}=20$

This means that Sia worked for 20 days.
Number of days, Sia was on leave
$=(30–x)=30–20=10days$
