Solution

The correct option is B 10 days
Amount earned by Sia in a day = $5
Amount lost when Sia is on leave = $1

Amount earned at the end of April = $90
Number of days in April = 30

Let the number of days Sia worked on be x. Then the number of days, Sia was on leave will be (30 – x).

Money earned by Sia = $5x
Money deducted from Sia
= $1(30x)

5x(30x)=90
5x30+x=90
6x=90+30
6x=120
x=1206=20

This means that Sia worked for 20 days.
Number of days, Sia was on leave
=(30x)=3020=10 days
