Equilateral triangle: If all sides of a triangle are equal then it is called an equilateral triangle.

Since it is given that the side of the equilateral triangle is a=16cm.

Now, it is known that the altitude of the equilateral triangle can be given as: h=32a

So,

h=32(16)h=83cm

Hence, the altitude od an equilateral triangle is 83cm.
