Cost of 1 hair clip = ₹ 3

Cost of 6 hair clips = 6 × ₹ 3
= ₹ 18 < ₹ 20

So, she can buy only 6 hair clips for ₹ 18 with ₹ 2 remaining.

Number of hair clips remaining
= 10 - 6 = 4
Cost of 4 hair clips
= 4 × 3 = ₹ 12
She has ₹ 2.
So, loan she should take
= ₹ 12 - ₹ 2
