We know that silica is $$SiO_2$$.

When $$SiO_2+Mg(OH)_2\rightarrow MgSiO_3(X)$$

$$MgSiO_3+2HCl\rightarrow SiO_2.2H_2O(Y)+MgCl_2(Z)$$

Since $$1\ mole\ SiO_2.2H_2O$$ is formed which is $$Y$$

Hence option D is the correct answer.
