a) Silver is a good conductor of electricity but silver is a costly metal and cann't be used everywhere as electrical wires are widely used in almost all field and it should be cheap.
b) Bells should produce sound, and this is possible if the object is sonorous. That means producing sound when hit with some surface. Wood cannot produce this sound.
c) Sodium is an alkali metal and is highly reactive. It reacts violently with atmospheric oxygen and that is why its kept under kerosene.
