Converting the mixed fractions into improper fractions

$M i x e d F r a c t i o n = \frac{I n t e g r a l p a r t \times D e n o m i n a t o r + N u m e r a t o r}{D e n o m i n a t o r}$

We will use the above formula to convert the mixed fraction into improper fraction
$\frac{3}{3 \frac{3}{4}} = \frac{3}{\frac{3 \times 4 + 3}{4}} = \frac{3}{\frac{15}{4}}$

$= 3 \div \frac{15}{4}$

Simplifying further by replacing the division sign with multiplication

$= 3 \div \frac{15}{4} = 3 \times \frac{4}{15} = \frac{4}{5}$

Hence, the given expression simplifies to $\frac{4}{5}$
