Given : $\frac{1}{3} + \frac{3}{4} - \frac{7}{8}$
LCM of $3, 4$ and $8$ is $24$ .
Now convert all fractions into equivalent fractions with denominator $24$ .
$\Rightarrow \frac{1 \times 8}{3 \times 8} + \frac{3 \times 6}{4 \times 6} - \frac{7 \times 3}{8 \times 3} = \frac{8}{24} + \frac{18}{24} - \frac{21}{24}$
$= \frac{8 + 18 - 21}{24} = \frac{5}{24}$
Hence, $\frac{1}{3} + \frac{3}{4} - \frac{7}{8} = \frac{5}{24}$
