Solution

To simplify : 1x2+22x3-x6

Convert the above mixed algebraic fraction into an improper fraction, we get

1x2+22x3-x6=2+x2+6+2x3-x6

Now let us find the L.C.M of denominators of the above algebraic fractions to convert them into like fractions, we get

L.C.M of 2, 3 and 6 =6

2+x2=(2+x)×32×3=3(2+x)6

6+2x3=(6+2x)×23×2=12+4x6

1x2+22x3-x6 =3(2+x)6+12+4x6-x6

=6+3x+12+4x-x6

=18+6x6

=6×(3+x)6 ( 6 is taken common in numerator )

=x+3
