In any right triangle, try to make its acute angle =0° by rotating terminal side (hypotenuse) towards its initial side( base). You may notice that while doing so, perpendicular goes on decreasing & finally it becomes zero. But hypotenuse & base becomes equal. So, base(adjacent side) / hypotenuse = 1:1 ie, Cos 0° =1

And perpendicular (opposite side) / hypotenuse = 0/1 = 0 ie, sin 0° 0
