Since ancient times, India has been known for its tolerance, this is quite true as there our many inequalities faced by our country.
Intolerance was present at several levels in India and is of very complex nature, and that is because of Inequalities among people,
Such as,
  • Caste System,
  • Gender Discrimination,
  • Economic Inequality,
  • Inequality in wealth etc.
Yes, it has overcome many of the inequalities by the laws and rules - regulations formed.
Country has also improved it many spheres like gender equality through equal opportunities to women etc.
The other inequalities can also be improved by working on the country and making it safer and secure for the people.
​​​​​​​Yet, In ancient times, India has been known for its tolerance.
