Sir/Mam following is my question :

Why does a boxer moves his head backward to minimize the effect of the coming punch ?

Pls help me solve this question.

a boxer moves his head backwards in order to increase the time interval of the punch to touch him .
when he moves his head backwards the time is increased and as a result the effect of force is decreased since force is inversely proportional to time .hence the force dcreases and the boxer hits a little.
