Cost of Reynolds pen= Rs.480
Percentage of pocket money spent on pen=40%
Let,the pocket money Siraj had initially be X
So,Percentage of pocket money spent on pen=Cost of Reynolds pen
40100×X=480
40X=480×100
X=4800040
X=Rs.1200
Therfore,the total amount he is left with=The pocket money Siraj had initially(X)-Cost of Reynolds pen =1200-480 = Rs.720
