The correct option is A 0.5Ω
Let us find the resistance between points B and C.
The circuit BACOB forms a balanced Wheatstone bridge. So no current will flow through AO.
Resistace of line BAC = 1 + 1 = 2 Ohm
Resistance of line BOC = 1 + 1 = 2 Ohm
Now lines BAC, BOC and BC are in parallel. So the equivalent resistance willl be 1Req=12+12+11=2
Req=0.5Ohm
