Given:
Six resistors each of value =1Ω

Resistance of the branch ABCD,
RABCD=(1+1+1)ΩRABCD=3Ω
Similarly, resistance of the branch AFED,
RAFED=(1+1+1)ΩRAFED=3Ω
Since RABCD and RAFED are in parallel, the required resistance is given by,
1R=1RABCD+1RAFED=13+13
=23
R=32Ω=1.5Ω
