Slow fire of wood burst into a flame when it is fanned or blown but light of the candle goes out on blowing ,why?

Solution

Actually the burning log of wood and candle both follow the slow combustion but in case of wood during the combustion, the wood material burns and break into smaller parts which looks as burst of flame when it is fanned or blown. This happens due to internal structure of wood. Wood is solid material and it dose not form any vapour of solid during combustion but it breaks into smaller parts that can be easily blown off.
