Aerosols: Aerosols are types of colloids in which the very finite or tiny solid or the liquid droplets will get dispersed in the gaseous phase which will further act as a continuous phase.

Smoke

Fog

Smoke is a type of colloid solution in which solid dust particles are dispersed in the air.Fog is a type of colloid in which water droplets are suspended into the atmosphere.

Dispersed phase: Solid

Dispersed medium: Gas

Dispersed phase: Liquid

Dispersed medium: Gas

Therefore, Smoke and fog both are aerosols but are different because of the different dispersed phases.
