(b) Smoke is passed through a chamber having a number of charged metal plates. Charged particles of smoke get attracted by oppositely charge electrode and get precipitated after losing their charge. The hot air passes out through the chimney.
(c) The value of environment conservation is reflected by the use of Cottrel Precipitator.
