Solubility of a gas in a liquid increases with decrease in temperarure and increase in pressure but with increase in pressure, temperature also increases?

Solution

Dear student, whenver we study change in one factor we try to keep all other factors constant. On increasing temperature, we keep pressure and volume constant by variation. Doing this, we study the impact if solely temperature on solubilty i.e. with increase in temperature solubility decreases due to increase in thermal energy of molecules. Regards
