Open in App
Solution

Use the concept of multiplication of decimals

Given (2.5×0.5)(+1.3×0.3)-(1.4×0.2)

Will solve the brackets first, so

(2.5×0.5)(+1.3×0.3)-(1.4×0.2)

=(1.25)(0.39)-(0.28)

According to BODMAS, first off brackets and then multiplication

=(0.4875)-(0.28)=0.2075

Hence, (2.5×0.5)(+1.3×0.3)-(1.4×0.2)=0.2075
