$3 x + 2 y = 8$

$3 x + 2 y = 8$
$+ 5 x - 2 y = 16$
$¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯ 8 x = 24$
$\Rightarrow x \geq 3$
$∴ 3 (3) + 2 y = 8$
$2 y = 8 - 9 = - 1$
$y = \frac{- 1}{2}$
$(x, y) = (3, \frac{- 1}{2})$
