Dividing both sides by 3, we have x > - 2

(i) When x is an integer then values of x that make the statement true are -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ... The solution set of inequality is {-1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ... }.

(ii) When x is a real number. The solution set of inequality is x(2,).
