Question

Solve: (x4)(2x+3)=2x2

Open in App
Solution

Step: Find the value of x

We have,

(x4)(2x+3)=2x2

After removing the brackets we get,

x(2x+3)4(2x+3)=2x2

Simplifying the calculation further we get,

x×2x+3x4×2x4×3=2x2

2x2+3x8x12=2x2

Now, transposing the terms 2x2 and 12 to RHS we get,

3x8x=2x22x2+12

5x=12

Now, transposing the term -5 to RHS we get,

x=(12)/5

∴ The value of 𝑥 = 125 .
