4/X + 3Y = 8 -------------------(1)
6/X - 4Y = -5 --------------(2)
elimination method
multiply (1) using 6 and
multiply (2) using 4
we get
24/x + 18y = 48.........(3)
24/x - 16y = - 20........(4)
---------------------------------subtraction.ie (3)-(4)
34y = 68
y= 2
so 4/x + 3*2 = 8
4/x= 2
or x= 4/2 = 2
so x=y = 2 ANSWER
