The correct option is A x=5 and y=20
Given equations are,
3x+2y=25 ....(1)
and x+y=15 ....(2)
Multiply equation (2) by 2, we get
2x+2y=30 ....(3)
Subtract equation (1) and (3) to eliminate y,
x=5
Put this value of x in equation (1), we get
3(5)+2y=25
15+2y=25
y=20
Therefore, the solution of the given equations are x=5,y=20.
