$2x-3y=4$ $-\left(2\right)$

Multiplying eqn $\left(1\right)$ with 3 and adding to eqn $\left(2\right)-$

$3x+3y=15$

$+2x-3y=4$

$5x+0y=19$

$\therefore x=\frac{19}{5}=3.8$

Substituting in eqn $\left(1\right)-$

$y=5-x=5-3.8=1.2$

$\therefore x=3.8,y=1.2$
