Solve 1x+y12x=130 , 5x+y+1x=43. Hence find the value of 2x2y2

Given equations are,
1x+y12x=130 ...(i)
5x+y+13=43 ...(ii)

Let(x+y)=a
Then we have,
1a12x=130 ...(iii)
5a+1x=43 ...(iv)

Multiplying eq(iii) by 5
5a52x=16 ...(v)

Subtracting eq (iv) from eq (v)
52x1x=1643
(52)2x=(18)6
72x=76
2x=6
x=3

Substituting the value of x in eq (iii)
1a12×3=130
1a16=130
1a=130+16
1a=1+530
1a=630
a=306
a=5

Substituting the values of a and x in x+y=a, we get
3+y=5
y=53
y=2

Hence x=3 , y=2

2x2y2=2×3222
=2×94
=184
=14

Hence the value of 2x2y2 is 14.
