$\frac{3 (2 x - 5)}{7 - x} = \frac{3}{4}$

$⟹ \frac{2 x - 5}{7 - x} = \frac{1}{4}$

$⟹ 4 (2 x - 5) = 7 - x$

$⟹ 8 x - 20 = 7 - x$

$⟹ 8 x + x = 20 + 7$

$⟹ 9 x = 27$

$⟹ x = \frac{27}{9} = 3$
