$\frac{- 5}{10} + \frac{6}{13} + \frac{8}{1}$

$= \frac{- 5}{10} \times \frac{13}{13} + \frac{6}{13} \times \frac{10}{10} + \frac{8}{1} \times \frac{130}{130}$
$= \frac{- 65 + 60 + 1040 ‬}{130} = \frac{1035}{130} = \frac{207}{26}$
