The correct option is B $\frac{1}{2}, - 3$
Given equation is:
$x (2 x + 5) = 3$
On smplifying, we get
$2 x^{2} + 5 x - 3 = 0$
$2 x^{2} + 6 x - x - 3 = 0$
$2 x (x + 3) - (x + 3) = 0$
$(2 x - 1) (x + 3) = 0$
$∴ x = - 3, \frac{1}{2}$ .
