$\frac{5 x - 4}{6} = 4 x + 1 - \frac{3 x + 10}{2}$

Multiplying by 6, the L.C.M. of 6 and 2

$\frac{5 x - 4}{6} \times 6 = (4 x + 1) \times 6 - \frac{3 x + 10}{2} \times 6 \Rightarrow 5 x - 4 = 24 x + 6 - 3 (3 x + 10) \Rightarrow 5 x - 4 = 24 x + 6 - 9 x - 30 \Rightarrow 5 x - 24 x + 9 x = 6 - 30 + 4 \Rightarrow 14 x - 24 x = 10 - 30 \Rightarrow - 10 x = - 20 \Rightarrow x = \frac{- 20}{- 10} = 2 Hence x = 2 A n s .$
