Solve: x+1(x+2)(x+3)dx

Open in App
Solution

x+1(x+2)(x+3)dx
integrating by partial fraction
x+1(x+2)(x+3)=A(x+2)+B(x+3)(x+1)=A(x+3)+B(x+2)x+1=(A+B)x+3A+2B
comparing both sides,
A+B=13A+2B=1so,A=1,B=2
I=1(x+2)dx+2(x+3)dx
=log(x+2)+2log(x+3)
