Solving the equation $3 x + 15 = 45$ , we get
$3 x = 45 - 15$ ( binary operation of every number/ variable is reversed when transferred to the other side)
⇒ $3 x = 30$
or $x = \frac{30}{3}$
Thus, $x = 10$ is the required answer
