Given equation is $2 x^{2} = 18 x - 36$
Dividing the equation by $2$ , we get
$x^{2} = 9 x - 18$
$\Rightarrow x^{2} - 9 x + 18 = 0$
$\Rightarrow x^{2} - 6 x - 3 x + 18 = 0$
$\Rightarrow x (x - 6) - 3 (x - 6) = 0$
$\Rightarrow (x - 6) (x - 3) = 0$
By zero-factor property, we have
$x - 6 = 0$ and $x - 3 = 0$
$x = 6$ and $x = 3$
