Given equation is $| x | + 2 x + 1 = 0$
There are $2$ cases i.e. $x > 0$ and $x \leq 0$
Thus, the equations are
If $x > 0$ then, $y = 3 x + 1$
If $x \leq 0$ then, $y = x + 1$
