Solving the equation

A statement of equality which involves one or more variables is called an equation.

Given equation is x+7=13.

RHS of the equation is a whole number .

In LHS, a whole number 7 is added to a number x.Thus we need to guess several values of x to find the values of LHS that becomes equal to RHS.

For x=6,LHS=RHS.

Thus x=6 is the solution of the equation.
