or 5m − 11 = 4
On adding 11 to both sides, we obtain:
5m − 11 + 11 = 4 + 11
or 5m = 15
On dividing both the sides by 5, we obtain:
$\frac{5m}{5}=\frac{15}{5}$
or m = 3
