The correct option is D x=2,y=2
3x+2y=10---(1)
4x2y=4---(2)
Using formula for cross multiplication method:
x(b1c2b2c1)=y(c1a2a1c2)=1(a1b2a2b1)
So, from equation (1) and (2) we can write the value of a,b and c.
x2×4(2)×10=y10×43×4=13×(2)4×2
x8+20=y4012=168
x28=y28=114
x28=114
14x=28
x=2
y28=114
14y=28
y=2
Therefore, x=2,y=2
