$\frac{2x–3}{4x+5}=\frac{1}{3}$

$\frac{2x–3}{4x+5}=\frac{1}{3}$

$3\times (2x–3)=1\times (4x+5)$

$6x–9=4x+5$

On rearranging the terms and combining like terms we get

$4x$to LHS it becomes $–4x.$

$$\begin{gathered} 6x–4x=5+9 \\ 2x=14 \\ x=\frac{14}{2} \\ x=7 \end{gathered}$$

Hence ,the value of $x$ is $7$
