$8 (x - 3) - (6 - 2 x) = 2 (x + 2) - 5 (5 - x)$

Given, $8 (x - 3) - (6 - 2 x) = 2 (x + 2) - 5 (5 - x)$
$⟹ 8 x - 24 - 6 + 2 x = 2 x + 4 - 25 + 5 x$ [By Distribution Law]
$⟹ 10 x - 30 = 7 x - 21$ [On simplifying]
$⟹ 10 x - 7 x = 30 - 21$ [Transposing $x$ terms to one side]
$⟹ 3 x = 9$
$⟹ x = \frac{9}{3}$
$⟹$ $x = 3$
