12x2-76x-1=03x2-7x-66=0

Multiplying 6 on both sides.

3x2-7x-6=0

Step 2: Factorizing the simplified equation:

3x2-7x-6=03x2-9x+2x-6=03x(x-3)-2(x-3)=0(3x-2)(x-3)=0

Using zero-product property find the value of x.

3x-2=0x=23

Or,

x-3=0x=3

Therefore, the values are x=23 or, x=3.
