Solution

Step 1: Finding the solution of a given equation

4m+26m+10=12[Given]4m+2(6m+10)×(6m+10)=12×(6m+10)[Multiplyingbothsidesby(6m+10)]4m+2=12×6m+12×10[Distributiveproperty]4m+2=3m+54m+2-3m-2=3m+5-3m-2[Subtracting3mand2frombothsides]m=3

Step 2: Checking the solution of the equation

We will check our result by putting m=3 in the given equation;

So, L.H.S =4m+26m+10

=4×3+26×3+10=12+218+10=1428=12

R.H.S=12

L.H.S=R.H.S

Hence, the solution of the given equation is 3.
